Not at all! Studio rentals are open to all photographers. Memberships just provide some extra perks like a dedicated member profile page, priority posting on social media, exclusive access to our premier props/furniture, access to studio lighting, free studio content day tickets, and discounted rental pricing. If you are looking for more leads, being a member also provides a listing on our ‘Find a Photographer’ page, which is used by the general public for finding photographers for studio and wedding photography.

Absolutely! Our goal in creating this space was not only to provide a place for photographers to rent, but to also provide a place for creatives in the community to connect, gain new friendships, and find the support they need. So whether you’re new to the area and looking to make some new friends who share your passion, are a current studio owner looking for some new content or education, or a current photography group looking for a place to hold your meetings, please know there is always a place for you here in our studio!

We love our furry friends! Dogs and cats are always welcome. The only thing we require is an up-to-date rabies vaccination.

Absolutely! Just send your client our booking link. Our rental questionnaire includes a box for clients to fill out the name of their photographer. If you have rented with us before and we have your information on file, we will automatically notify you that a booking has been made when you are mentioned in this box.

Yes, a studio representative will always be onsite. Professionalism is important to us, and our goal is always to be available when you need us, but to avoid the main area of the studio as much as possible while your clients are here. If you’re a new renter and haven’t scheduled a studio tour before, please be sure to arrive at least 15 minutes before your rental and clients to give us time to give you a quick tour. With so many features, options, and small unique details, there is so much to learn during your first visit! Need help during your rental? Our studio has three silent call buttons to make it easy to let us know when you need us.

No, we do not record any social media or video content during rentals unless a photographer requests it, as we know how important it is that you have full control of any content captured of your clients during your rental. The content shared on our IG pages is normally submitted directly from the photographers renting our studio or are clips from content we capture from studio-sponsored events.

Absolutely! In fact, we encourage it and we have a whole online system dedicated to make reserving and ensuring availability of items super easy for you!
Some of our items are stored offsite or are currently used in sets, so this allows for you to know exactly what is available so you can have the items you need while you’re here. Based on availability, our staff will also pre-set items for you, like fabric backdrops, as much as possible to make it easier for you to focus on what you love!

For little items, like plants, blankets and vases, absolutely! For larger items and anything structurally necessary for a set, no. (Please know, you will always know exactly which pieces of furniture, props, and backdrops are available to be moved and used within our rental inventory system. Items marked as unavailable within our system on your rental date are ones that cannot be moved during your rental.) Safety is our top priority and we always ensure when more extensive studio rearranging is necessary that two staff members are scheduled and available to assist with moving large items, repainting where needed, and ensuring things are put back in their original place for future renters. As the time frames between rentals are limited, we only tear down sets and move large furniture pieces in installations for rentals of 7 hours or more.

Our cyclorama wall (with the exception of Christmas), access to one seamless paper station, and bed are always available. Our other sets change out frequently. You can click here to view sets currently in the studio and how long they will be installed,

Absolutely! Our studio is large enough for more than one photographer to work at a time. If there is a photographer that you love working with that may be having sessions at the same time and you would like to share the space/cost, you are more than welcome to.

Yes! If you are staging your own set, please be sure to include enough time in your rental before your session starts for setting up and after your session for tearing down. For simple setups we normally recommend adding a half hour at the beginning and end of your session, and for more complex ones, an hour to two hours before and after your session start and end times. While we have some buffer room inbetween rentals, this timeframe is used by our staff to tidy, vacuum, clean, and sanitize before the next rental, so please do your best to ensure you are fully done by the end of your rental time.

Of course! Our studio is the perfect place to capture images when the weather outside isn’t in your favor. Bookings are available online with as little notice as an hour by clicking here. If you don’t see the timeslot bookable on our rental page or the need is super last minute, reach out to us using our contact form by clicking here. Our emails are monitored even after hours, so please know we are super quick to respond.

You can! We do have a refrigerator in our breakroom to store a cake if needed. Just send us a message to let us know when to expect someone.

We understand that flexibility is key.
Rental Fees Paid. To provide consideration for the time pulled from our calendar, rental fees paid will not be refunded, regardless of circumstance, but we do allow for flexible rescheduling or cancellation with issuance of a gift card when advance notice is provided.
Options. If you need to reschedule or cancel, you have the option to:
Reschedule. To reschedule, you can use the rescheduling link at the bottom of your confirmation or reminder email.
Cancel & Have a Gift Card Issued. To cancel and have a gift card issued, simply respond to your email confirmation/reminder.
These options are available as long as you are within the timeframes available for changes below.
Timeframe Available for Changes. The timeframe available for changes (rescheduling or cancelling with issuance of a gift card) varies based on the amount of time that has been blocked out of our calendar to hold your date and time.
30-Minute, 1 Hour & 2 Hour Rentals. Can be rescheduled/canceled with issuance of gift card up to 2 hours in advance.
3-Hour & 4-Hour Rentals. Can be rescheduled/canceled with issuance of gift card up to one day in advance.
5-Hour & 6-Hour Rentals. Can be rescheduled/canceled with issuance of gift card up to two days in advance.
7-Hour & 8-Hour Rentals. Can be rescheduled/canceled with issuance of gift carde up to one week in advance.
Event & Bridal Suite Rentals. Please refer to your contract details for exact rescheduling/cancellation options.
Timeframe When Rentals are Locked in Place. As there is very little chance of reopening dates for booking once the timeframes below have been reached, rentals are ineligible for changes to date or time at the timeframes listed below. This means that the rental timeslot will remain reserved and available for you to use, and no gift card will be issued even if you do not use the space.
30-Minute, 1 Hour & 2 Hour Rentals. 2 hours before your rental start time.
3-Hour & 4-Hour Rentals. 24 hours before your rental start time.
5-Hour & 6-Hour Rentals. 48 hours before your rental start time.
7-Hour & 8-Hour Rentals. One week before your rental start time.

Photographers who don’t want the overhead of a full time studio and for studio owners who need a more expansive space for those one-off large sessions.
We understand the hurdles of studio ownership. Finding a commercial space is hard and finding one that provides enough space is even harder. Add on multi-year contracts, startup costs, build outs, and the massive overhead, creating a commerical studio space can not only be daunting, but also limiting. Built from the studs out, our space was meticulously designed to overcome some of the hurdles of the traditional ownership allowing for a spacious environment to unleash the full capabilites of your art while ensuring you only pay for a studio when you need to. (Say goodbye to the struggle of the off season!) With both traditional studio photographers (providing an open, expansive, and easily transformable space to create complex lighting scenarios) and photographers aiming for soft, even-toned imagery (where the use of artificial lighting remains almost indistinguishable in their imagery), our studio has been created with a wide range of photography shooting and editing styles in mind.

If there is a chance you may go over your rental time, please let our staff know. As long as there is not an incoming rental, we are always happy to extend time as needed!
The rate for time extensions is $20 + tax per 15-minutes and can be paid via credit card at the end of your rental.
