Launched in early 2026 in celebration of our first year, our educator showcases are here to stay! In launching our very first educator showcase, we witnessed something truly beautiful unfold — an event that brought people together in a uniquely captivating way, founded on the idea of offering encouragement and practical support when creatives need it most — at the beginning and middle stages of their photography journey.
About Us — An Inspired & Supportive Community Serving Over 100 Photographers. We actively support, build up, and engage with creatives to cultivate a welcoming, collaborative atmosphere of community. We believe photography is more than just perfecting the right settings — it’s about experimenting, learning, and expressing your vision in ways that elevate your work to new levels of excellence and open fresh pathways to discovering passions and unexpected things to love. By bringing together creatives who are just beginning their journey alongside those who have worked in the industry for decades, our studio intentionally attracts and nurtures people with a strong sense of community and a genuine commitment to lifting others up. Countless meaningful friendships have begun within our studio walls, and our events provide ideal opportunities to forge connections that spark growth, collaboration, and ongoing mutual support.
How the format works. The studio is divided in the middle, with tables in the center providing educators, mentors, and vendors a comfortable home base for displays and materials. Around the perimeter, dedicated sets and areas are arranged for live demonstrations with models. This setup gives instructors space to showcase photography skills they’re passionate about — from posing and creative lighting techniques to camera settings, editing workflows, and more. Designed for easy flow, the layout lets attendees come and go freely while creating opportunities for focused one-on-one time with genuinely engaged visitors, offering photographers an authentic sense of what mentorship with you feels like. It promotes natural conversations, highlights your teaching style, and lets participants experience hands-on guidance in a relaxed, professional environment.
Tickets. Educator showcases are free events; however, we do require a ticket tied to estimated arrival time to help manage traffic flow and ensure a smooth, organized experience for all educators, mentors, vendors, and attendees.
What We Provide. The studio will provide models, power (if needed), tables, and chairs as well as refreshments for educators, mentors, vendors, and attendees.
Payment. There is no payment for these events and are designed for mentors, educators, and vendors who truly have a passion for helping and creating meaningful connections with others.
Models. Models are paid by the studio for these events.
Who Can Apply. All educators/mentors and photographer service/equipment providers are welcome — even other rental photography studios!
Frequency. Educator Showcases are scheduled in the studio bi-annually.
